Characteristics:
Non-bacterial sub cellular vaccine against coli-sepsis and coli-infections. Registered by ÚŠKVBL in Nitra and Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava file No. 99/009/91 - S, and by ÚSKVBL in Brno and Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in Prague file No. 99/009/91 - SC.
Vaccine contains five kinds of purified protein antigens E.coli type K 88 ab, K 88 c, K 99, 987-P and LT enterotoxin producing a sufficient immunity of new-borns (brood).

Indication:
Vaccine of swines, sheep, goats and cows in case of an outbreak of coli-diarrhea and coli-infections of new-born or coli-sepsis of sucklings and weanlings caused by enteropathogenic E.coli.

Contra-indication:
None.

Application:
Subcutaneously or intramuscularly to pregnant mothers 6-4 weeks before the birth. Re-vaccination of the brood before weaning in problematic breedings with a frequent outbreak of coli-infections is possible. .

COMBICOL KENT is supplied in 20ml glass bottles with a plug to be punctured. One packing contains 10 bottles.

Description:
Coli-infections and coli-diarrhea of new-born swines, calves, lambs and kids present a cause of their death, and thus also the reason for increased cost of breeding. Up to now, the majority of breeders solve this situation only when the aforementioned problems arise. Animals are treated with antibiotics significantly increasing the cost per animal. And the correct prevention - by suitable vaccination - is very simple and cheap.

The science-research institute BOOS - Biological Substances in Košice has been manufacturing the vaccine COMBICOL KENT for already ten years. And why is the vaccine special? It does not contain any bacteria, neither live, nor killed, neither their parts, nor their sub-units. COMBICOL KENT contains only five proteins - antigens of high purity.

Why is it important and special? All the present vaccines contain either live or killed coli-bacteria. These vaccines take effect only when the breeding is infected by the bacteria they contain. Several companies prepare vaccines according to the found infection which is time-consuming, expensive and little efficient. Even the most perfect bacterial vaccine is efficient only as long as the breeding is infected by the same kind of bacteria!!!

Because COMBICOL KENT does not contain either microorganisms or their parts, only five pure proteins antigens K 88ab, K 88ac, K 99, 987-Pa LT enterotoxin, it presents no stress to the organism of vaccinated animals and their liver produces only those five main antibodies - proteins responsible for diarrhea of new-borns. For this reason, COMBOCOL KENT is also universal. It is efficient everywhere, regardless of the type of enteropathogenic E.coli the breeding is infected with, in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Netherlands and other countries. Even one, namely LT - enterotoxin, is totally identical in almost all disease-carrying bacteria. Hence, COMBICOL KENT protects from all bacteria that are carriers of enterotoxins, not only from Escherich but also from Shigel or Salmonella!

Our breeders may be proud that this preparation achieving excellent parameters is made only in Slovakia. Bacterial vaccines - today, it is already an obsolete category of protection substances containing live, attenuate or killed bacteria or viruses. Their use is already prohibited in majority of cultural countries. By right, the immunization preparation COMBICO L KENT is proud of being a preparation of the third millennium! It contains only the aforementioned protein antigens in high concentrations and adjuvant. It reliably protects new-born sucklings, lambs, kids and calves from coli-sepsis with the cost for its use being minimum in comparison to other preparations. The effect, however, is incomparably better. Using the immunization preparation COMBICOL KENT, re-vaccination is not required. A single application of 2 ml with swine, sheep and goats four weeks before birth, 4 ml with cows four weeks before birth. COMBICOL KENT may be applied with any medicament or vaccine. It has no contra-indication. The research institute BOOS - Biological Substances has shipped several millions of doses of the vaccine COMBICOL KENT without any claim, unwished complication or death of the immunized animal in last ten years. Its efficiency is exceptional - more than 90%. If a breeder re-vaccinates the whole breeding, death due to coli-diarrhea can be reduced under 1%!
